Huge night of New Years Eve entertainment at Grand Central Hall to bring in 2017
7 years ago
Two of Liverpool’s biggest names in entertainment join forces this New Years Eve to bring revellers a night to remember. MOD Theatricals and Lantern Theatre Productions (Formerly The Lantern Theatre) are collaborating on an evening filled with entertainment as well as a traditional Hogmanay Hog Roast to ensure 2017 starts off with a bang.
The event will take place in the lavish surroundings of Grand Central Hall on Renshaw Street where guests will be wowed with an evening of non-stop entertainment. An array of acts will perform to guests throughout the evening including prestigious cover band The Mersey Boys who will bring their trademark harmonic style to the night singing classics covers from some of the best acts Liverpool has produced. Expect The Beatles, Gerry and the Pacemakers, Elvis Costello and more.
Hosting the evening will be MOD Theatricals director James Lacey and the incredible Tori Hargreaves. James has an extensive musical theatre background and has toured the world with productions such as Shrek and High School Musical. In 2015 James returned to his native Liverpool to set up his own production company MOD Theatricals. The company quickly became an audience favourite at the Lantern Theatre where they staged numerous sold out events.
James says “This is our biggest event to date and it’s great that we are able to continue working alongside the Lantern Team, we have an amazing night in store and can’t wait to announce our special guests.”
Tori hails from Formby where she trained at Lamont School of Speech and Drama and Southport Dance Academy. Since her graduation from Arts Educational School London Tori has toured with a number of high profile roles. “I am delighted to be ringing in the New Year hosting such a great event” says Tori.
James and Tori will be joined by a number of special guests for an evening of all round entertainment. Table prices for the night vary by seating capacity and start at as little as £120 for a table of four. All prices include a traditional Hogmanay Hog Roast.
