In Demand Radio are looking for the North West’s next big DJ!

Lee Butler and the team at In Demand Radio are looking for brand new DJ talent to take to the decks on Liverpool’s newest radio station

The In Demand Radio team have launched a search for a new up and coming DJ/producer to win a guest mix on the station’s biggest dance show, Plastic Surgery. The prize includes a guest mix, and an on-air interview with hosts Lee Butler and Steve Cocky.

Lee said “We’re looking for a mix of either new House music or Old Skool dance from exciting new talent in Liverpool & the North West. We’re feeling ecstatic that our station can give this opportunity to local DJs and we can’t wait to air their mix on our show”

Steve added “We know that this region has got so many budding artists who just need the opportunity to showcase their talent. I started out in a school youth club, and if it wasn’t for the opportunities given to me there, I wouldn’t have the passion and drive to be doing what I’m doing today, so I know how important chances like these are.”

In Demand Radio launched on DAB last month for Liverpool and the North West. At In Demand, former Radio City DJ and co-founder of Reminisce festival, Lee Butler takes prime position, hosting the ‘Brekky Butler’ weekday breakfast show, as well as Plastic Surgery and his legendary Sunday afternoon show. The winning DJ will also be joining the likes of Tiesto, Dave Pearce, Judge Jules and Roger Sanchez who all have weekly shows on the station.

On the station’s music policy, which he collaborates on, Lee added “We’re swapping the same predictable songs on repeat for super shiny anthems. From the most amazing Old Skool memories to the funkiest and hottest new releases. It’s time to re tune your radio and turn it up!”
