Jacaranda Baltic announce Jacob Collier album launch show days after GRAMMYs win and performance

Six time GRAMMY award winning artist Jacob Collier is heading to Liverpool later this month to launch his album Djesse Vol. 4.

The Jacob Collier album launch show at Jacaranda Baltic on 6 March will include a post performance Q&A and will be just one of three he is doing in the UK.

Just earlier this week Jacob was onstage at the GRAMMY Awards performing with music icon Joni Mitchell shortly before collecting his sixth GRAMMY Award, this time for Best Arrangement, Instrumental and Vocals.

Jacob Collier is a British singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer known for his innovative approach to music. Born in 1994 in London, Collier gained widespread recognition for his unique arrangements and harmonies showcased through his YouTube videos, which garnered millions of views and caught the attention of industry professionals.

He is renowned for his exceptional musical talent, often playing a multitude of instruments and utilizing intricate vocal layering techniques to create rich, textured soundscapes.

Collier’s music blends elements of jazz, pop, classical, and world music, showcasing his versatility and boundary-pushing creativity. He has collaborated with various artists across different genres.

Djesse Vol. 4 is set for release on 29 February 2024 and features collaberations with artists such as John Legend, Chris Martin, Shawn Mendes, John Mayer and Stormzy and many more.

Bringing Jacob Collier to Liverpool is just the latest flourish by Jacaranda Records who, despite being open less than a month, have already hosted album launch shows with artists such as The Libertines, Dizzee Rascal, Tom Odell, Shed Seven and Kula Shaker.
