Liverpool’s music scene is set to ignite this summer as Jacaranda Records teams up with The Courtyard at Punch Tarmeys to host the city’s biggest Battle of The Bands competition, Warriors Of Rock.
The event promises to be a showcase of the city’s emerging talent, offering bands the chance to win a £2000 prize, a professional recording session, and a coveted slot at an upcoming Jacaranda Records show.
Graham Stanley, Managing Director of Jacaranda Records, said:
“We are incredibly excited to partner with Mikhail Group to put on Liverpool’s biggest Battle of The Bands.
“This competition is all about celebrating the incredible talent in our city and providing a platform for grassroots bands to showcase their music, and potentially the resources they need to start their career. We can’t wait to see what the bands are going to bring to the stage.”
Warriors Of Rock will take place every Friday over the summer at Punch Tarmey’s Courtyard.
The competition kicks off on Friday, 12 July, and includes five heats plus a semifinal, all leading up to the grand final on Friday, 6 September.
Each event is free to attend, giving music enthusiasts the perfect opportunity to support local talent while enjoying a night of live music.
Bands will be judged through phone vote-ins up until the final, where a panel of industry professionals will select the winner. This format ensures that the public has a significant say in the competition while also providing professional insights during the critical final stage.
The stakes are high, and the rewards are incredible, making this a must-enter for any aspiring band in Liverpool. The competition not only offers financial support but also the invaluable opportunity to record professionally and gain exposure at a Jacaranda Records event.
