Jake Quickenden joins cast of M&S Bank Arena Auditorium panto

X Factor and I’m a Celeb star Jake Quickenden is joining the cast of Jack and the Beanstalk at The Auditorium at M&S Bank Arena.

Having worked hard to ensure that the magic of the Christmas panto is not lost in Liverpool this year Shone Productions can now announce that Jack Quickenden (X Factor, I’m a Celebrity and Dancing On Ice winner) will be starring in Jack and the Beanstalk at The Auditorium at M&S Bank Arena (from Friday 18 December until Sunday 27 December).

Jake joins the Scouse queen of panto Leanne Campbell (Radio City) & returning comedy favourite Bippo for what is set to be Liverpool’s only panto this year. The team have worked hard to ensure the panto complies with the government’s guidelines while still bringing the magic of the Christmas panto to Liverpool.

Jake said, ‘Obviously this has been a really tough year for everyone so when I had the chance to come to Liverpool and help make this Christmas as much fun as possible I jumped at the chance. I can’t wait to get on stage and spread some Christmas cheer.’

In order to make the panto safe for audiences the following measures will be in place:

• Reducing the seating capacity has been reduced from 1,350 to under 500
• 1 Metre + Social Distancing In The Auditorium
• Social Distancing and one way system will be in place around the venue, foyer & auditorium
• Hand Sanitiser Stations available throughout the venue
• The auditorium will be deep cleaned after each performance and treated with anti-viral spray

Panto classic Jack and the Beanstalk tells the story of Jack, his brother Silly Billy & his mother Dame Trott as they attempt to beat the evil giant in the sky and save the village.  This promises to be a spectacular pantomime featuring a superb cast, live band, brilliant scenery and costumes, amazing special effects and lots and lots of laughs!
