Jeff Banks to host fashion show at Anfield in aid of Dress to Impress
3 hours ago
Renowned British fashion designer Jeff Banks will bring star power to Anfield Stadium this November as he hosts the Sefton Community Pantry & Dress to Impress Gala Dinner & Fashion Show.
The exclusive black-tie event promises an evening of glamour, style, and giving back, with the aim of raising £50,000 to support vulnerable families across the Liverpool City Region.
Sefton Community Pantry CIC is a grassroots, community-driven organisation that has supported vulnerable families across the Liverpool City Region since 2008. Founded by Lynne Higgins, the Pantry provides food, essentials and wraparound support, while its dedicated project Dress to Impress offers free school uniforms, prom gowns, formal suits and funeral attire to disadvantaged children and families. The initiative ensures no young person has to miss life’s most important milestones simply because of poverty.
This glamorous evening will combine fine dining with a showcase of empowerment. Guests will enjoy a three-course black-tie dinner in the iconic Anfield Stadium, followed by a high-energy fashion show featuring stunning gowns and formal wear, as well as live entertainment, auctions and a few surprises.

The fashion show will be hosted by Jeff Banks, who will also be working closely with the models to build their confidence and perfect their catwalk skills. In addition, Jeff has drawn on his industry connections to secure a generous donation of brand-new suits for the Dress to Impress project, ensuring even more young people can step into life’s milestones with pride and style. Among the supporters are Threadology, whose brands include Twisted Tailor and also Baird Group whose brands include Suit Direct. Both companies have been exceptionally generous, donating a stunning selection of suits, shirts and accessories that will help transform the lives and confidence of those supported by the charity.
The show will also feature models from a wide range of backgrounds, including students from Petty Pool Vocational College, which provides education and training for young people with learning disabilities and difficulties. By celebrating inclusivity and diversity on the runway, the evening will showcase not just style, but the power of confidence and community.
Sue Wright of the Harrogate Group, who has been instrumental in organising the event, said:
“This event is about celebrating fashion and empowerment, while raising vital funds to ensure no young person has to miss out on life’s milestones simply because of cost,”
“Having Jeff Banks at the helm of the fashion show brings an extra level of excitement and prestige and his personal support for our models and the charity’s work is invaluable.”
“Too many families are forced to make impossible choices,” added Lynne Higgins, who runs Sefton Community Pantry CIC. “Our Pantry ensures they don’t go hungry, and Dress to Impress ensures children and families can experience dignity and pride at life’s most important moments. This Gala is about raising funds but also about raising hope.”
Funds raised from the event will go directly towards: stocking and expanding Sefton Community Pantry, growing the Dress to Impress wardrobe, raising awareness of its impact, and securing long-term rental of a central hub with storage facilities.
The event is proudly supported by Home Bargains and The Harrogate Group, who have been instrumental in driving table sales and sponsorships. With only a limited number of opportunities remaining, Sefton Community Pantry welcomes anyone interested in getting involved to reach out and secure their place.
