Jet2 lands at Liverpool John Lennon Airport with twenty new destinations

New flights and holidays go on sale today – with over 20 destinations available!
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have announced this morning their continued growth by launching their flights and holidays from Liverpool John Lennon Airport, who has now become their 11th UK Airport.
The tour operator have put 20 sunshine destinations on sale from Summer ’24 flying from Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA), this comes in response from enormous demand from customers, and independent travel agents across the region.
The programme includes seven destinations that are exclusive to Jet2 from Liverpool. The first Jet2 flight will depart the airport on 28 March 2024, perfect timing for the Easter Holidays.
Today’s announcement means that even more holiday makers and independent travel agents across Merseyside, and the wider region, can benefit can benefit from there companies’ award-winning flights and ATOL protected package holidays.
In their first summer of operations from LJLA, Jet2 will operated up to 54 weekly flights, including 12 flights to both the Canary Islands and the Balearic Islands every week. A fleet of four based aircraft will fly customers to a wide choice of destinations across mainland Spain, the Canary Islands, the Balearic Islands, Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria, Portugal, Madeira, and Cyprus!
The programme also includes seven exclusive summer routes to Gran Canaria, Menorca, Rhodes, Madeira, Paphos and Bourgas. with multiple weekly flights, customers will be able to enjoy fantastic flexibility when it comes to choosing the duration of their holiday.
Passengers flying to Liverpool check-in quickly and pass through the terminal with ease compared to many larger airports, with average security queue times of just 12 minutes last Summer and more on time departures than most other UK airports.
The Jet2 VIP customer service includes friendly flight times and a generous 22kg baggage allowance through a flight-only booking with Jet.com. Customers also get that very same service along with 2-5 star accommodation, in-resort Customer Helpers, transfers, free child places and ATOL protection through a package booked with Jet2holidays.
Customers travelling from Liverpool John Lennon Airport can book their Jet2holiday direct via the website or by phoning the contact centre, or alternatively via an independent travel agent. The tour operator’s award-winning trade team will be working in partnership with independent travel agents to ensure they have all the knowledge they need to sell Jet2holidays.
