JYSK launches largest store in the UK at Hunts Cross Retail Park

The largest Danish retailer operating globally, JYSK, has opened its first Liverpool store and its biggest in the UK at Hunts Cross Retail Park.

You can now dive into the world of Danish home furnishings at the biggest JYSK store in the UK, based here in Liverpool.

With Liverpool being one of the most popular shopping destinations in the North West, it creates the perfect location for JYSK’s newest and largest store. The 1350sq mt store boasts two levels and will be full to the brim with on-trend and affordable homeware items. Not only will the store bring affordable Scandi-chic to Liverpool but also some great career opportunities for the local area. The store will be managed by Liverpool native, Victoria Bostock.

The newest store launch comes at a time when huge proportion of the population is at home more than ever before. As a result, many of us are choosing to invest in our living spaces, instead of going out or on holiday. Liverpool is the first store of JYSK’s upcoming UK expansion plans, with another 6 store launches by the end of the financial year which will take their UK total stores to an ambitious 26, “The sky really is the limit for JYSK and we remain committed to our expansion plans even in the current climate,” says Jenny.

Store Manager, Victoria Bostock, who has lived in Liverpool her whole life backs the opening and is excited by the prospect of managing the store. Before coming on board to launch JYSK Liverpool, Victoria worked for retail giant, Arcadia which provided her with the perfect skills to manage JYSK’s largest store. Victoria is excited by the career development prospects that comes with an ever growing and developing company like JYSK. “I am thrilled to be a part of the JYSK Family,” Victoria explains, “this year has been a tough time for the UK job market, and I cannot wait to mentor and help others develop their careers whilst managing the biggest JYSK store in the UK.”
