Knowsley Safari is causing a stir this summer with a fleet of bold, animal-print taxis turning heads across the city.

It’s all part of a brand-new campaign that’s set to drive excitement (and a few double-takes) as the region gears up for school holidays and outdoor family adventures.

Three black cabs have had a wild makeover, covered in eye-catching tiger and giraffe prints, as a nod to some of the Safari’s most iconic residents – from Amur tigers and African lions to graceful giraffes and powerful white rhinos.

The distinctive taxis will be ferrying more than 3,000 passengers a month within a ten-mile radius of the city centre, offering a moving reminder that you don’t have to travel far to come face to face with some of the world’s most incredible animals.

And there’s more good news. Starting from 1st August, the first ten passengers to ride in each of the three safari-branded taxis will receive a free Knowsley Safari summer pass – giving them unlimited access to the park until 7th September.

Helena the attraction’s new Head of Marketing and Sales said: “We wanted to do something fun, something that would quite literally stop people in their tracks. These safari-branded cabs are such a playful addition to the streets of Liverpool, and they’re all about sparking curiosity and getting families excited about what’s waiting for them just outside the city.”

“Whether it’s to visit the animals or take part in one of our summer activities, we want to put Knowsley Safari back on everyone’s radar.”

One of those activities is Camp Knowsley – the park’s brand-new bushcraft adventure experience, running from 4th to 31st August. Aimed at younger visitors aged 4 to 10 years, it invites families to swap screens for the outdoors and try their hand at survival skills. From fire lighting and stone age tool making, to bug eating and building woodland shelters, it’s a full-on wild summer holiday escape without having to leave Merseyside.

And if you miss out on one of the free taxi passes, there’s still time to bag a great deal. Summer passes are available for £199 per family (based on two adults and two children), offering unlimited entry between now and 7th September. That means more chances to see the animals, take part in bushcraft, enjoy the amusements, and maybe even catch a glimpse of the cabs themselves pulling up with another lucky winner.

Knowsley Safari’s creative new campaign is more than just a splash of colour on the city’s streets – it’s a call to action for families across the region to reconnect with nature, get out in the fresh air, and make memories that last beyond summer.
