Knowsley Safari has temporarily closed to the public due to the coronavirus outbreak.
The latest closure announced on Merseyside is that of Knowsley Safari which has announced it is closing its gates to the public until further notice because of the corona virus outbreak.
See the full statement from Knowsley Safari here:
“We are now temporarily closed. The health and wellbeing of our team and guests is our highest priority and therefore after careful consideration Knowsley Safari will now close to the public from tonight (23rd March 2020) until further notice.
We know our Safari Drive has provided many of you with a safe and secure escape from this strange time, but we’ve made this difficult decision in the hope of slowing the spread of this virus.
Rest assured, our animals will continue to be cared for by our expert team during this temporary closure. Any tickets bought will also be valid for 12 months, we’ll honour any offers from the time of purchase, and all memberships will be frozen until we reopen.
We will be working over this period to look at how we can provide safe & secure ways for our guests to see our animals from their own home so please keep following our social channels.
Thank you for your support and understanding in this difficult time. We will continue to follow government guidelines over the coming weeks and look forward to welcoming you back soon.”
