Everton Women are gearing up for a huge Merseyside derby at Goodison Park this weekend, with midfielder Zara Kramžar promising the Blues will “give everything” in front of a home crowd.
The Slovenia international, who joined on loan from AS Roma in January, could be set for her first taste of the derby when Liverpool visit on Saturday for a 12pm kick-off — and she’s already well aware of what it means to supporters.
Kramžar and teammate Aurora Galli recently met young Everton fans at Lillibet Studio on Lark Lane, taking part in a bracelet-making workshop while chatting all things football ahead of the big game.
The visit gave players a chance to connect with supporters and hear first-hand the excitement building around the clash at Goodison.

Speaking ahead of the fixture, Kramžar said Everton are in a strong run of form, having won four of their last five league games, and are heading into the derby full of confidence.
She said: “We’re in a really good flow at the moment and the team is feeling confident going into every game.
“The league here is more intense and physical — you have to give everything, and that’s what the fans expect from us.”
With Goodison Park set to host its first permanent home Merseyside derby for Everton Women, Kramžar says she’s expecting a big atmosphere.

“I’m really looking forward to it. It’s a big derby, there’ll be lots of fans from both sides and I can’t wait to experience that noise and rivalry,” she added.
Saturday’s game also has a family-friendly feel, with Easter activities planned around the ground including face painting, balloon artists and a special appearance from the Easter Bunny.
Tickets are available now, with prices starting from £12 for adults and £6 for under-18s.
Evertonians being encouraged to arrive early for a full afternoon of Easter-themed entertainment.
