La Finca Eivissa gets set to bring the Balaerics to Liverpool’s bar scene
7 years ago
Come on we all love a bit if Ibiza in Liverpool, and this time of the year is the perfect time to take us back to our beloved White Isle.
The spirit of the Balaerics in a brand new venue, across 3 floors including the newly refurbished basement cocktail bar ‘La Finca Bodega’
La Finca Eivissa hosts warm Balearic vibes, chill areas, fusion tapas, sangrias, Spanish & local beers & house speciality cocktails as well as detox drinks and smoothies. A place to Chill in the evening and party into the early hours with live entertainment each night.
The venue will have a very relaxed style of service as is common on the shores of the Mediterranean, order your food at the bar and take a seat in one of the bar swings or comfortable day beds and take in the atmosphere.
New operator Steve Thompson previously set up & managed Bar Bodega almost 7 years ago has now created a brand new concept that has been building for a number of years ‘La Finca Eivissa’.
The building on Back Collquit street is a perfect fit for the new venue with its beautiful brick arches and finca styled beamed ceilings.
Stephen has been a frequent visitor to the island of Ibiza since a very young age having worked abroad many times felt Liverpool is missing a place of this kind. The ideas for La Finca Eivissa have been an ever growing plan looking into the styles of food, drinks and service you can find in Ibiza and the Balearics. Ibiza has some of the best restaurants bars & nightclubs in the world so we plan to bring a piece of that magic to our home city of Liverpool.
The food will be based on quality not quantity serving fusion tapas and small plates using fresh locally sourced produce. There are also many vegan & veggie options for the more health conscious customers. If you fancy a late bite and you are still peckish the team will be serving a selection of our cold tapas & bar snacks right throughout the night.
Drinks focus will be on Spain & the Balearic isles, with a varying range of Spanish draught & bottled beers, a ‘build it yourself’ Sangria menu and a brand new speciality cocktail list for guests to sample. You can try a shot of Heirbas which is an Eivissa favorite or one of our tasty chocolate shot cups. There will also be a huge range of local & Spanish gins from the bespoke Gin serve menu.
