It’s Record Store Day this Saturday, so this week Lee Butler is at one of the iconic record stores in the city, 3b Records on Slater Street which is now been open over 25 years. This week he’s looking at the change between vinyl and the digital dark side…
He takes us back in time to the beginnings of the store and how it grew into one of the Liverpool’s biggest stores for music labels and events. He even takes a good look at the resurgence in vinyl in the last few years and how the music scene has changed.
Lots going on at 3b on Record Store Day for vinyl lovers for Record Store Day. With thousands of specially released albums for the day, re-issues, new picture albums and lots more. Doors opening at 8am on Saturday so make sure you come down and join the celebrations.
