Lerpwl crowned best restaurant in Liverpool at British Restaurant Awards
2 years ago
Lerpwl – Liverpool’s modern and accessible fine dining restaurant – has been crowned best restaurant in Liverpool by the British Restaurant Awards, an annual awards ceremony which allows customers to nominate and vote for their Best Restaurants in the UK.
The awards ceremony was held on the 12th September at Porchester Hall in London, and members of the restaurant team attended the event and collected the award on behalf of the restaurant.
A number of amazing Merseyside restaurants were in the running for the prestigious award, but it was Lerpwl who took home the accolade. This was the 4th annual British Restaurant Awards and this year they received 1.1 million votes from the public.
Ellis Barrie, chef owner said:
“We are really happy to have won this award, it means a lot to have been nominated and then voted winners by the public. I guess it’s a bit of further reassurance that our guests like what we offer and that they enjoy the dining experience they have at Lerpwl. The team who attended the ceremony had a great night, it was good to see them representing Lerpwl down in London.”
Located at the Britannia Pavilion on the Royal Albert Dock, Lerpwl sits nestled among other foodie destinations, and its vision focuses on the links between Liverpool’s port and the rest of the British Isles and North Wales, providing the freshest produce possible in the restaurant.
