This exciting over-18’s only venue is the latest addition to the popular ArCains gaming complex on Grafton Street, known as one of Europe’s largest gaming experiences.

ArCains already boasts three massive floors filled with hundreds of retro and modern games, three bars, pool tables, shuffle-board, free Wi-Fi, and the ArCains café. Now, with the addition of ArCains 18+, this gaming paradise has reached a whole new level.

ArCains 18+ is a chic ‘barcade’ inspired by Tokyo’s most vibrant arcades, combining the beloved gaming attractions with an elegant, luxurious feel that offers a unique adult-friendly experience. Whether you’re a fan of retro classics or the latest next-gen consoles, ArCains 18+ has something for everyone.

Spanning 3.5k sq ft, ArCains 18+ is set to open seven days a week, featuring six brand new gaming PCs, a multiplayer projected console area, and the rare Wangan Midnight Maximum Tuned 6R—believed to be the only one in the UK outside of London.

Your entrance fee also grants access to thrilling virtual reality experiences, including VR Agent.

You’ll find an impressive row of networked Japanese rhythm units ending with the addictive Dance Rush Stardom. Dive into original retro cabinets like Street Fighter and Defender, or take flight in the exhilarating Star Wars Battle Pod and MachStorm with their giant dome screens.

For those who prefer staying grounded, two classic Mario Kart 2 units await.

The fun doesn’t stop on level four; new machines like Lost Island and Mission Impossible have recently been added to the existing floors.

When you’re ready to unwind, head over to the stylish cocktail bar at ArCains 18+, offering a wide range of arcade-themed cocktails, beers, wines, spirits, and soft drinks. Feeling peckish? Refuel with delicious classic dishes available from the ArCains café.

Access to ArCains and ArCains 18+ costs £25 for unlimited gaming and the venue is open from 12pm-11pm Monday-Thursday, Friday 12pm-12am, Saturday 11am-1am and Sunday 11am-10pm.
