LFC Foundation launches ‘Run to Anfield 5k’ to support health and wellbeing programmes

The LFC Foundation has announced the launch of the first-ever Run to Anfield 5k, set to take place on September 8, 2024.
Registrations are now open for the Run to Anfield 5k, offering participants an opportunity to complete a scenic 5-kilometre run around Stanley Park and finish inside the iconic Anfield Stadium.
By taking part in this event, you will not only experience the thrill of running into one of football’s most historic grounds but also help raise vital funds for the LFC Foundationās Health and Wellbeing Programmes, which benefit people of all ages across the community.
The LFC Foundation runs several programmes to support local communities, from encouraging young people to stay active and healthy through the MOVE programme to supporting local military veterans.
They have also developed unique initiatives such as Red Hot Beats and Sound Minds, which blend Liverpoolās rich history of music and football to teach children valuable coping strategies.
Participants in the Run to Anfield 5k are encouraged to aim for a fundraising target of Ā£150, which will go directly to supporting these programmes. To get started, runners can sign up on the JustGiving ‘Run to Anfield’ event page. After registration, the LFC Foundation will provide full instructions on setting up a personal fundraising page.
