LIMF 2018: We meet Hacienda Classical Exec Producer & New Order Legend, Peter Hook
5 years ago

The countdown to LIMF 2018 is well and truly on and over the coming week we will be meeting the artists and playing the festival and the people that make it happen on LIMF TV presented by The Guide Liverpool.
LIMF will take over Sefton Park on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd July and for just £5 per day (advanced ticket) you get to see the likes of Example, Jax Jones, Basement Jaxx (DJ set), Wiley, Young Fathers and our Sunday headliners, Hacienda Classical.
Haçienda Classical, the vibrant celebration of the Manchester mecca of clubbing, will close LIMF in spectacular style on the Sunday of Liverpool International Music Festival with the Manchester Camerata experimental orchestra, in the last of their North West string of sell-out shows.
For just £5, ticketholders can experience the records of a generation, renewed afresh and rearranged with the classical orchestra.
The LIMF appearance of Haçienda Classical will feature a third new set prepared by DJ’s Graeme Parkand Mike Pickering and musical director Tim Crooks. This version sees many new classic tracks added to the repertoire for the Haçienda Classical players and special guests.
Executive Producer of the show and co-founder of the Hacienda club itself is New Order and Joy Division legend, Peter Hook. We went to Manchester to meet the man himself to find out exactly what you can expect from the incredible show in Sefton Park.
Watch the full 9 minutes, un-cut chat with Peter below, where you’ll hear details of how the club became so iconic and all the info you need about what you can expect from Hacienda Classical at LIMF 2018.
