LIMF 2019: This is what the LIMF Central Stage artists think of the Scouse crowds
5 years ago
From Ella Eyre, YXNG Bane and Nile Rodgers to our very own MiC Lowry & Anton Powers, this is why musicians love to play to Liverpool audiences.
It’s been an amazing day of live music and truly memorable performances at Sefton Park. LIMF 2019 promised some huge sets and it’s safe to say, every single one was incredible. With all four stages, Central Stage, City of Music Stage, Shubz DJ Tent and True School Club House, kicking off at midday, there’s been a 10 hour marathon of all genres of music, with something for everyone.
Watch above as LIMF Saturday artists, Ella Eyre, Nile Rodgers, Anton Powers, MiC Lowry, Raheem Alameen, YXNG Bane and more tell us why they love the Liverpool crowds.
Earlier Nile Rodgers sat down to talk all things scouse and how he chooses which songs make his set. Head this way to see why he thinks Liverpool is up on a pedestal with Memphis.
Saturday at LIMF 2019 was a sell-out by early afternoon. Shuttle bus services back into the city also sold out, so if you’ve got your heart on seeing Disco Classical with special guest Sister Sledge featuring Kathy Sledge, De La Soul and more, head this way to get your tickets now.
