Excitement is building for Roman Day at Chester Racecourse in collaboration with Via Roma on Saturday, May 25th, as a dynamic lineup of musical acts adds to the immersive experience.
Teaming up with Deva Fest for this celebration of Chester’s heritage, Roman Day at Chester Racecourse promises a day filled with activities and family-friendly fun.
In addition to children’s entertainment like SuperPirates and AmaSing, the Roodee stage will come alive with live performances from bands such as The Odds, known for their renditions of modern classics, and Xander and the Peace Pirates, former house band at the iconic Cavern Club.
The event will also feature the Old Time Sailors, treating guests to an immersive sea shanty music experience, while festival vibes will be in full swing with performances from Stephen Lockhart.
Steve Davies, Chief Operating Officer at Chester Racecourse, said:
“We’re thrilled to welcome Old Time Sailors, the Odds, Xander and the Peace Pirates and Stephen Lockhart to our amazing line-up of immersive entertainment for Roman Day. These exciting music acts are firm Deva Fest favourites that are guaranteed to get our guests singing and dancing.
“The addition of these acts enhances our incredible offering for Roman Day, which already features a fantastic card of racing and fun activities for all the family out on the Open Course. It promises to be a spectacular occasion not to be missed.”
