Litherland singer’s TikTok campaign to join Zach Bryan on stage at Anfield

A talented teenage singer songwriter from Litherland has launched a campaign on TikTok to perform with Zach Bryan when he plays at Anfield this summer.
Louis Gibney, who’s a massive fan of the American country superstar, is aiming to join him on stage at his Liverpool gig when he sings Heading South.
The 19-year-old is so determined to make his dream happen that he’s been posting on TikTok every day since November, tagging Bryan and his bandmates.

So far he’s not managed to catch their attention – and up against 3.7milion followers it’s not an easy goal – but Louis’s not about to give up.
He said:
“I got tickets to see him when he was at Hyde Park last summer but I was nowhere near the stage then,”
“I went on TikTok and there was a lad called Ollie Hawkins who’d started what I’m doing now. He was posting something Zach Bryan-related every day and he got on eventually. He was unbelievable so once I heard he was doing Anfield I thought, I need to be the one going up.
“I’d be devastated if it was someone else, so I thought I might as well give it a try.”
For Louis, playing in front of tens of thousands of other Zach Bryan fans at Anfield would be an unbelievable career high – especially as he’s a Reds supporter.
He’s been playing guitar since he was 12 and is currently on a gap year to focus on gaining more experience and build his own following.

“Since I finished sixth form I’ve been working in a coffee shop part-time and trying to get as many gigs as I can at the weekend,” he explains.
“I started my TikTok account about two and a half years ago and just progressively got more followers. I do gigs mainly around Litherland and Bootle, and my uncle owns The Phoenix so he was the one who got me my first gigs. I’d sing there on matchdays before the game.”
Although he usually does a set of covers, Louis says he’s constantly writing his own material and he’s got a song on Spotify called House Into A Home.
When he first started writing his own songs, Zach Bryan was one of his biggest inspirations.
“When I was a kid it was always Jamie Webster I wanted to be like, but then as I’ve got older I’ve listened to different music. I started listening to Zach Bryan and I was just blown away. He was the first person I really thought, I want to write like him.”
Louis’s already had a great start to 2026 – he was invited to play on the concourse at Anfield in front of fans at the Liverpool v Newcastle game at the end of January.
And he’s got golden circle tickets sorted for the Zach Bryan gig on June 12, so there’s no way he’s missing out even if he doesn’t manage to get on stage.
But in the meantime he’s keeping up his daily posts in the hope that someone with some influence will notice.
“I’ve been doing it for that long now, I’ve just got so used to posting every day and tagging everyone in. I think my head would fall off if he eventually did respond!”
