Liverpool’s pubs, bars, gyms and leisure centres, casinos and bookies all closed on Wednesday as the city entered the toughest lockdown measures in the country.

Since then there has been growing concern, anger and upset about the tight new restrictions affecting gyms, hospitality and leisure venues in our city.
