Let’s face it, we are all fighting our own battles right now as the coronavirus crisis continues, and if 2020 has taught us anything it’s that keeping a check on our mental health is absolutely vital.
The Guide Liverpool’s Jay Hynd will led a live discussion focusing on mental health with Mayor of Liverpool Joe Anderson and mental health experts who told us what help is available.
Merseycare‘s key objective is to promote physical and mental health well being across our region. Michael Crilly, Director of Social Inclusion and Participation, Merseycare will tell us exactly what support is available from the NHS led organisation.
Salome Mare-Walsh is a Community Mental Health Nurse & BAME network leader at Merseycare. Salome will be sharing her own story and we will hear from mental health campaigner and lifestyle blogger Hope Virgo about her incredible work.
If you are in crisis now you can call the urgent mental health support line: 0800 145 6570.
Or find more support from Talk Liverpool, Life Rooms online or the Zero Suicide Alliance.
