Liverpool business women celebrate “girl power” at lavish first bday bash, for beauty brand the Dolls House

The Dolls House Group invite Liverpool business women to celebrate “girl power” at their first birthday bash

The Dolls House celebrated its first year in business in true #girlpower style last night surrounded by the city’s most stylish and successful women.

The beauty group threw a glittering birthday bash at the Dockside Dining Club in Liverpool – uniting influencers, fashionistas, artists and entrepreneurs from the world of fashion and beauty.

Marking a successful year in business for the Dolls House Beauty Group, the theme of the event was #girlpowerisatrend – bringing together all those working in the creative industry to network, celebrate their achievements and inspire each other.

And it was a well and truly glamourous event. Partygoers sipped cocktails while indulging in a little retail therapy from must-have beauty and fashion brands, retouching at the glam stations and posing for selfies in the photo booths whilst being serenading by a live acoustic singer Clare Sophia and top tunes from DJ Mark Ingham.

Charlotte Kirk co-owner of The Dolls House Group revealed: “The event was everything we imagined it would be and so much more. To have so many inspiring women all in the same room, socialising and getting to know each other, was exactly what we wanted.

“We even got to meet the people who support us on social media and people who inspire us. It couldn’t have been a more amazing night.”

For the team behind The Dolls House Group, the party was a great chance to let their hair down before the start of what looks set to be another busy and successful year.

Indeed, the Dolls House Group is fast becoming a force to be reckoned with on the beauty scene.

Owned by three fearless, strong and passionate young women – Amy Guy and sisters Charlotte and Molly Kirk – The Dolls House is much more than just a beauty salon. There’s no bitching or rivalry here. It’s a place where women support each other to be the best they can be.

Their story began with a small salon in Maghull in 2010 and became so popular, the girls decided to expand and recreate its warm, friendly vibe on a much larger scale – opening a three-floor salon and training academy in Kirkby in December 2017.

The academy is home to over 20 amazingly talented artists who work their magic on clients making them look and feel amazing with a wide range of treatments, from lashes and brows, to make-up, nails, pedicures, skincare, waxing and aesthetics.

Each artist is supported to develop their skills and empowered to achieve their dreams. In a bid to help others succeed, the academy also offers a wide range of training courses and masterclasses, as well as free online video tutorials.

Co-owner Amy explained: “We wanted to bring everyone together to let our hair down before the new year as 2019 is going to be a very busy and exciting year for us…” Keep your eyes peeled for their big plans coming next year.
