Liverpool City Centre now has more restaurants and eateries than ever before
There are loads of things which put Liverpool on the map, from its football teams to The Fab Four and other musical giants, and its cultural prowess, to name just a few.
But thereâs something else which is helping put the city at the forefront, and thatâs its amazing food and drink.
Its reputation for gastronomic greatness is credited with helping Liverpool steer its way to one of the most visited cities in the UK, and itâs easy to see why with a host of offerings to take you through from sunrise to sunset, from amazing breakfasts and brunches, fabulous lunches, and luscious late-night dining with cracking cocktails.
Whether youâre in beautiful Bold Street or by the waters of the Royal Albert Dock, around Castle Street, or shopping in Liverpool ONE or the Metquarter, you know youâll find something to whet your appetite.
Because in TOWN, thereâs something for Everyone, Everyday.
Take Leaf in Bold Street. What began as a small tea shop run by friends in a city centre gallery is now a thriving and award-winning cafĂ© serving the best breakfasts including Turkish Eggs and Shakshuka, through to brunch specials, salads, soups and sandwiches, and delicious main plates like Goan Vegetable Curry and Jerk Marinated Rump of Lamb along with great events. This summer itâs also serving dishes from a 100+ year-old menu it found in its rafters!
If youâve got a passion for pizza, Rudyâs Neopolitan Pizza in Bold Street and Castle Street will serve up a flavoursome feast as well as a relaxed dining atmosphere and, sticking to Italian favourites, Riva Blu in Castle Street will be dishing up its authentic Italian Menu inside or, if al fresco eating is your thing, on its sun-catching outdoor terrace.
Marco Pierre White Steakhouse & Grill is the place to head to for a warm welcome, the chance to unwind and enjoy great food with a menu curated by the legendary Mr White himself within the beautiful boutique Hotel Indigo on Chapel Street, while GPO at Metquarter is home to a heart-of-the-city food market showcasing independent vendors offering the best in world food in one place.
While Six By Nico in North John Street offers a six course tasting menu changing every six weeks – and each one themed upon a different place.
Bon appetite!
