Liverpool City Region’s apprentices are being celebrated at this special gala graduation ball

After a challenging 18 months for so many across the region, the hard-work and drive of an entire workforce of Apprentices and Apprenticeship Schemes will be celebrated in style at the Liverpool City Region: Apprenticeship Graduation 2021 – taking place at Liverpool’s Grand Central Hall on Saturday November 25th 2021. 

Presented by the trailblazing city-wide institution that is Sound City & funded by the European Social Fund & Strategic Investment Fund – the Liverpool City Region: Apprenticeship Graduation 2021 promises to be an extra special night for many across the city and beyond. A chance to mark the determination and passion that the region has become synonymous for, especially in light of the incredibly difficult nature of the past 18 months and the wider implications the Covid-19 Pandemic has had on workforces not just in the region, but across the world. 

Beth Tweddle will speak at the event

Olympic gymnast legend Beth Tweddle MBE will be guest speaker on the night. Across her incredible career, Beth became a true favourite across the nation, winning championships around the world and storming the Olympic stage at London 2012 to win a Bronze Medal in the Uneven Bars. An inspirational figure to many looking to get into sport and gymnastics in particular, her story of determination and perseverance is one sure to ring true across Graduates gathered – as a sporting icon helps celebrate their phenomenal achievements.

Speaking about her appearance at Liverpool City Region: Apprenticeship Graduation 2021, Beth Tweddle MBE said:

Taking those first steps to launch into new careers and gain the skills needed to be the best you can within those careers requires a high degree of hard-work in regular times, never mind the past 18 months! The Liverpool City Region: Apprenticeship Graduation 2021 promises to mark that determination and hard work, with an evening celebrating the achievements of apprentices not only in attendance but across the region. Produced and organised by the celebrated creative heads of Sound City, whose headline festival weekend returned at the start of October for a sold-out celebration of new music discovery in the City that welcomed thousands from around the UK, the night is set to be full of surprises, entertainment and an atmosphere like no other.
