Liverpool Craft Beer Expo is heading to Black Lodge Brewery this Summer
7 months ago
The Craft Beer Expo takes place on June 6-8th at Black Lodge Brewery in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle and will showcase the best of UK and World beer with 100s of different beers from over 30 breweries.
As well as national and international breweries, there will be several popular local breweries including the likes of Black Lodge, Neptune and new brewery Colbier, amongst others.
Paul Seiffert, curator of The Craft Beer Expo and co-founder of Black Lodge Brewery said:
“We have been running this event since 2013 and it’s still as popular as ever. We try to create an inclusive festival atmosphere that works for die-hard beer fans as well as beer newcomers. There is also the chance to meet the team from each brewery and learn more about what they do. There’s a great party atmosphere every year, especially when the sun is out! There will also be gin, cider and cocktail bars for those who like an alternative to beer.”
The Ship and Mitre will host a German and Belgian beer bar, featuring incredible lagers, pilsners, wheat beers, and more.
Alongside the main attraction at the Craft Beer Expo, is an array of food traders offering burgers and pizzas alongside Mexican and Indian street food.
To accompany the festival, there will be DJs throughout, curated by Matsuri Records – an independent Liverpool record store and will bring together the perfect DJs to soundtrack the event.
This year’s event is also raising money in support for local organisation “Flourish and Succeed”. Customers can also donate their unspent beer tokens in aid of this great cause which will be matched by the event organisers.
