One of Liverpool’s world-class conference and events venues has reported a record-breaking year, with revenue and visitor numbers reaching new highs.
Spaces at The Spine has announced a new revenue record after experiencing an increase of 158% when compared to 2022. The venue has also detailed a 64% growth in the number of events it hosted in 2023, resulting in more than 15,300 delegates being welcomed through its doors. Included in the total number of delegates were delegations from Switzerland, Malta and Albania who used the venue when Liverpool hosted the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest.
Since opening in 2021, Spaces at The Spine has cemented its commitment to sustainability, providing dynamic areas for conferences, workshops and dining while striving to remain as environmentally friendly as possible. Adding two more accolades to its impressive collection, and making the shortlist for five more, in 2023 the venue won Gold in the Sustainability category at the prestigious miaList Awards and took home the Sustainability Award at the Conference and Events Awards.
Looking to 2024, Spaces at The Spine is set to develop its services further, including an expansion of its unique dining space at the top of The Spine, The Axis, along with its related services, and the development of its wellbeing café, The Base.
Natacha Allen, Head of Commercial Events at Spaces at The Spine, said:
