Liverpool FC brings The LFC Experience to New York City with legends and fan events

Liverpool Football Club is set to take over New York City this September with an exclusive series of events under The LFC Experience banner.
Set to take place from September 26 – 28, this exciting visit will see Liverpool FC Legends Lucas Leiva and Martin Ĺ krtel join the Reds in engaging with fans and partners from across NYC and Brooklyn.
The LFC Experience demonstrates the club’s commitment to engaging with its passionate fanbase and commercial partners in the US whilst enhancing its presence in one of its most strategic international hubs, with more than half of the club’s partners now headquartered in the US.
According to the latest figures from Global Web Index, there are over 24 million LFC fans in the USA alone, with 67 Official Liverpool Supporters’ Clubs across 35 states. The club’s recent tour of the United States was a resounding success, breaking attendance records at major venues, including Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia and Williams-Brice Stadium in South Carolina.

The LFC experience also coincides with New York Climate Week (NYCW), and to mark this the LFC Legends will accompany Rishi Jain, director of Impact at LFC on a visit to the United Nations to discuss their ongoing collaborative work as part of Global Goals Week. The club will also host and participate in a high-profile panel discussion on sustainability and the role of sports and brands driving change alongside representatives from other major US sports organisations.
LFC is proud to be named as the most environmentally sustainable Premier League football club for the second consecutive year in the Sport Positive League and for continuing to lead the way on governance in this space, being the first club to be certified to ISO20121 (sustainability), ISO45001 (health and safety) and ISO50001 (energy), ensuring it is sustainably certified and internationally recognised for its ability to deliver sustainable events.
The Red Way recently added to its impressive accolade roster, with a Sport Industry Award for environmental sustainability as well as being named as one of the top 10 most sustainable sports companies by Front Office Sports.
Discussing the club’s NYCW activities, Rishi Jain, director of Impact at Liverpool FC, added:

In addition to the UN visit, LFC will host a special Watch Party in New York City for the Reds’ fixture against Wolverhampton Wanderers. This event will bring together the club’s partners, key stakeholders, and local supporters to cheer on the team, enjoy the game, and network in a vibrant atmosphere.
LFC Foundation, will also be highlighting its impact in the region by showcasing its employability programme, Creative Works. Supported by club partner Kodansha. Creative Works operates across the five boroughs of New York City and New Jersey, inspiring the next generation of creatives through storytelling.
