Liverpool Homeless Football Club will celebrate world homeless day in style this weekend. The team turn ten years old on Tuesday, and they’ve got a number of events planned over the weekend.
It all kicks off on Sunday with a derby match with a difference, as they take on Manchester’s premier homeless club at Walton Hall Park.
The Metro Mayors from both cities, Steve Rotheram and Andy Burnham, are both set to lace up their boots for the occasion.
Then there’s a couple of big tournaments taking place on Tuesday and Wednesday. Matt met Steve and Merv from Liverpool Homeless FC to find out all about it.
