Liverpool Loves Business: 10 Reason to Attend on Thursday

Liverpool Loves returns to the city this weekend with a full programme of music, well-being, culture and family fun down on the Pier Head. But did you know the festival actually kicks off on Thursday with a full day of conferencing for all the cities entrepreneurial movers and shakers?
Here’s ten reasons why you should attend Liverpool Loves Business:
1 – Open House – Hosted by The Crowne Plaza Hotel, Pier Head, the conference venue has ample parking and is easily accessible from public transport…oh, and did we mention its totally free? Register to attend though Eventbrite here.
2 – Breakfast Meating – Liverpool Loves event organisers know how to woo the business crowd! The first 100 delegates will be treated to free bacon butties and tea and coffee. If that’s not enough to get you there for 8:30, we don’t know what is!
3 – On The Podium – Want industry advice from market leaders? Then you’d be mad to miss Abby Oladapo from Google and Noguru Director, John Drysdale enthralling audiences with their inside knowledge on pitching, storytelling and securing new work. Seminars from 9am

5 – Business Cards…Check – Networking plays a huge part in Liverpool Loves Business and from the moment you walk in the door there are opportunities to meet new people, chat with exhibitors and make solid connections with the cities business crowd. 6 – The Bigger Pitcher – Businesses from across the region have been invited to pitch their ideas to accelerator programme, Spark Up in a bid to win their share of £5000. With three different categories (Start Up, Growth and Social Value) the competition is strong! See who wins and pick up practical advice during the afternoon pitching sessions from 2:30pm.
7 – Know Your Audience – What better way to learn how to set up and grow your own empire than with tailored advice and insights from, Jo Austin of the Liverpool City Region Enterprise Hub and Independent Liverpool owners, Dave Williams and Oli Press. Keeping it Liverpool!
8 – Why Liverpool Loves – The range of speakers at this year’s conference is more diverse than ever, with independents, international conglomerates and those in export, online trading and food and drink, all keen to share their experiences and knowledge to help you get started.

The After Party takes place from 5pm.
