There’s a big night of music and fundraising coming to Kitchen Street and you can be part of it.
Online publication and local music promoters, Liverpool Noise have announced they will be hosting a fundraising night for homeless charity, The Whitechapel Centre on Friday 7th July at 24 Kitchen Street.
The Whitechapel Centre is the leading homeless and housing charity for the Liverpool region working with people who are sleeping rough, living in hostels of struggling to manage their accommodation. The charity is committed to helping those in need find and maintain a home and learn the life essential life skills needed for independent living.
Liverpool Noise are fundraising for The Whitechapel Centre by means of a stellar night of local music at one of the city’s finest venues. On the bill at 24 Kitchen Street are five must-see Merseyside acts: contemporary RnB Due, Deliah, exciting indie-rockers The Debt Stars and the all-together craziness of alt-rockers Salt The Snail whose live show is completely unpredictable. After only a handful of previous shows they are known to keep the crows happy by throwing out Pepperami’s and Babybels so that no one goes out empty handed! Definitely not to be missed.
There will also be performances from the impressive indie pop band Weekend Wars who have had a busy spring/wummer schedule playing Brighton’s The Great Escape Festival and Dot to Dot Festival among dates across the country.
The headliners for the night will be the fantastic Colour, a band who have received widespread critical acclaim from the likes of Q, Clash, BBC Music, The Sunday Times and Gigwise, to name just a few. Their rock, pop anthems are infused with electronic influences and catchy hooks which have helped them gain attention nationwide as well as selling out gigs in Liverpool.
