Ritchie Tunstall, Katumba’s Musical Director, said: ‘I started drumming out on Halloween in a very improvised way, over 10 years ago! Since co-founding Katumba we’ve been doing it for 5 years, and it’s amazing to see what it has become.
The passion and dedication of all those involved over the years has led us to this point, and it’s very heart-warming to be able to include the local community in what we are doing this year, thanks to Arts Council funding.
All ages are invited to take part on the 20th of October for our lantern and prop making workshop for the parade and all other activities on 26th and 31st! We’re looking forward to seeing everyone come together and have a great time!‘
