Liverpool sleepwear brand owner launches new collection for Christmas
4 years ago
The Real Housewives of Cheshire star Tanya Bardsley has revealed a glimpse of her new favourite lockdown wardrobe for winter … posh pyjamas.
With champagne Housewives lunches and red carpet dressing all off the diary, Tanya has switched to glam PJs at home instead.
The mother-of-four is the new face of luxury sleepwear brand Queens Park, launching its latest collections.
Modelling the silk and satin sets, Tanya said: “This is my all-time favourite sleepwear. It’s luxurious but also comfortable and it’s perfect being at home with my three boys Ralphie, Renz and Rocco.”
Tanya, wife of footballer Phil Bardsley, is back on screen for the 12th series of The Real Housewives of Cheshire on ITVBe.
But away from the cameras, like everyone else during lockdown, she’s been embracing the all-day sleepwear trend.
That’s why the two women bosses behind Queens Park chose her as one of the inspirations behind their winter and Christmas collections.
Best friends Samantha Fitzsimmons, 30, and 32-year-old Kimberly Saunders say the new range is the feelgood solution for women who still want to look fabulous even when they’re lounging at home.
And their business has never been busier since staying in became the new going out.
Samantha said: “So many women are either working from home now, or just spending more time there because all their usual going out plans have been cancelled. But they don’t just want to throw anything on, they still want to look and feel glamorous and that’s why they love our silky sets.”
Kimberly added: “Getting dressed up always gives you a lift in your mood, it just makes you feel happier, so our sleepwear lets women do that and still feel really comfortable.”
The pair chose Merrydale Manor in Cheshire to host a photoshoot with Tanya for their two new Queens Park sleepwear collections, as well as their first ever children’s collection. And they enlisted the help of an expert team from the Christmas Decorators to give the venue an absolutely stunning festive look.
“We’ve worked so hard to create the most amazing pyjamas,” said Kimberly. “We design everything ourselves because we are our own customers, so we understand what women want. We both have two-year-olds, we’re young working mums who like to look good, and our collections really reflect that.”
Samantha, from Liverpool, and Kimberly who’s from Essex, started Queens Park (named after Kimberly’s daughter Queenie) two years ago when, both pregnant and buying PJs and loungewear, they found that what was out there didn’t feel very glamourous and never fitted well.
“After we had our babies, we set up our online business to provide luxury glamorous sleepwear for mums,” said Samantha.. “Now our customers just love it and spend all day in it.”
