Liverpool Sport Guide: Matt is with Liverpool Boxer Callum Smith

Liverpool boxer Callum Smith is eying a world title fight with Anthony Dirrell – and he hopes it’ll be in Liverpool.

The WBC super-middleweight belt is up for grabs after Badou Jack decided to vacate following his draw with James DeGale at the weekend.
Smith, unbeaten in 22 fights, defended his British title against Luke Blackledge before Christmas.
The WBC had ordered Jack to take on “El Mundo” before he decided to move up a weight division.
Matt Jones of Radio City Talk met him up the tower and found out the fight could take place as early as this spring.
