What’s going on?
Liverpool vs Swansea Saturday 21st January 2017 KO 12:30
The big game taking place on Merseyside this weekend is the Reds in action against the Swans. After a string frustrating results for Liverpool, they will be hoping to get back to winning ways against a shambolic Swansea side. 5-0 please the Reds.
Crystal Palace vs Everton 21st January 2017 KO 15:00
After demolishing a star studded Manchester City side on Sunday 15th, Everton will be hoping to take this form down to London with them when they face Crystal Palace. New Palace manager Sam Allardyce will be attempting to get his first points on the board as boss at Selhurst Park.
City of Liverpool vs Litherland REMYCA 21st January 2017 KO 15:00
This is going to be a cracker. A derby and a title contender throw down. Both teams are at the top end of the Hallmark Security League First Division table. City of Liverpool FC are fast becoming one of Merseyside’s biggest teams, so make sure you get down to watch them while you can. Head to both team’s twitter feeds for more info on the clash.

BJJ European Championships
The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu European Championship gets under way this week in Lisbon, and whilst most of us wont be swapping rainy England for sunny Portugal, a few dead hard Scousers will. Stay tuned to the Sports guide in the next few weeks, we will have exclusive interviews with a few Scouse competitors.
Runcorn Snow-sports Centre
Runcorn’s Snow-sport centre is the place to go if you want to give the winter sports a go, without getting wet. Offering Skiing, Snowboarding and Tubing classes on a massive dry slope, its a great way to have good, clean, safe fun with all the family. For more details check out the website here www.runcornski.weebly.com
Goals Speke
If, like me, you love playing footy but find it hard getting a team together or finding one local to you, why not try Goals in Speke. The purpose built facility means you can create your team, and participate in a moderated league against other sides of the same numbers. The floodlights and referees mean that each game is fair, and after the game is over you can chill out in the Cafe and watch a bit of live football. Not bad eh? Check out their website for full details https://www.goalsfootball.co.uk/

Team of the Week
Everton FC

Everton FC
The team of the week has to be the Ev. So far in January they have made some great signings, namely world class midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin. Thanks to a 4-0 hammering of Manchester City at home, Ronald Koeman’s Everton are really starting to take shape. Up the Toffees.
