Liverpool will be welcoming it’s first ever Christmas vegan festival this Saturday and everyone is welcome.
The Live A Better Life Christmas Vegan Fair will take over Mountford Hall offering tasty food as well as advice for Scousers interested in becoming vegan.
The Live A Better Life vegan fairs have been running in Liverpool since 2013 and have been attended by more than 19,000 people. This new Christmas vegan event is a first for Liverpool and one of the biggest ever in the UK.
Event Manager Emma Cox said: “September’s event attracted over 3,000 people. There are more vegans than ever in Liverpool so the time has come for a dedicated Christmas vegan fair for the city.”
A total of 90 stalls will be selling everything from vegan food to cruelty-free gifts. A whole range of delicious food will be on offer as well as advice on how to make changes to your diet if you want to embrace a more vegan friendly lifestyle.
Event Manager Emma Cox added: “Interest in veganism has continued to rocket in 2018, vegan options are appearing all over Liverpool.
“There are already a growing number of people in Liverpool who are vegan, vegetarian or on their way to a plant-based diet. This event is offering people the opportunity to find a huge range of cruelty-free goods in one place plus free Christmas craft activities and free face painting for all ages.
“The event will also feature the launch of Vegans Got Talent, a brand-new way for local vegan musicians and poets to perform live and show their talent to a supportive audience.
“For the increasing numbers of people who want to find out more about improving their health, saving animals and protecting the environment, this is an amazing event which will entertain and inspire.
“Showcasing the best vegan food and gifts in Liverpool, the Live A Better Life Christmas event will be a great day out that all the family can enjoy.”
