Liverpool’s Electronic Sound Summit announces 2021 music conference

Electronic Sound Summit has announced its return for 2021, with this year’s conference taking place on Friday 3rd – Saturday 4th September across multiple venues in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle.

The event will feature various industry and cultural sessions designed to educate, inspire and connect those working in the electronic music industry, after what has been a difficult year for the music scene and those involved with it. From seminars on music production to panel discussions on vital topics, ESS will be an important opportunity for upcoming artists to learn and grow both creatively and professionally.

The annual conference was founded by the Liverpool Audio Network (LAN), and is the first and only event of its kind in the North West of England. LAN is a mission-driven organisation devoted to the development of the UKs electronic music scene, helping creatives achieve their ambition in the music industry.

Co-founder Phil Noone said:

“ESS:2021 is arguably our most critical event to date. In light of the current international struggles the music industry is facing, we need to reconnect and discuss these issues as a community, to ensure a healthy regeneration, while also celebrating what dance music means to all of us, past present and future.”

The conference will feature masterclass seminars based on music production hosted by world-renowned producers plus panel discussions centred around pressing topics in the industry such as Mental Health in Music, Gender Equality, and The Importance of Independent Venues.

You can also catch key note talks based on industry advice, plus live workshops on hardware such as synthesizers and turntables.

The conference will also boast space for music brands to showcase their products and services. Previous exhibitors include Ableton, Waves and Native Instruments.

Previous guests include Crazy P, Detroit Swindle, Sam Divine, Elliot Adamson, Yousef, Corey James, David Morales and many more. The first speakers for 2021 will be announced soon.

Tickets are available from Skiddle here.
