Liverpool’s first immersive slime play centre opens on Duke Street
5 hours ago

Liverpool’s first-ever interactive slime play centre has officially opened its doors!
Slimeville, a one-of-a-kind immersive experience for kids, launched on Tuesday 4 March at 78 Duke Street, bringing state-of-the-art creative play to the city.
With 90-minute sessions starting from just £4.95, bookings are now open for families looking for slime-filled fun and learning experiences.
Slimeville is designed to spark creativity, curiosity, and excitement in children aged 3 to 11. It offers an engaging mix of sensory play and interactive technology, allowing kids to:
- Create their own slime
- Experiment with sand and art activities
- Climb the slime wall
- Embark on themed quests
- Engage with touch-screen technology games

With a separate food and drink area for refreshments and private party bookings, Slimeville is perfect for families, group visits, and birthday celebrations.
Founder Metin Arayo created the centre after spotting a gap in the market for fun yet educational play centres in Liverpool’s city centre.

Metin Arayo said:
“My wife and I noticed there aren’t many play centres for children in the city centre – let alone ones that combine fun and learning. A great deal of planning has gone into this concept, and we’re excited to welcome families through our doors. Slime, fun, and learning – there’s really nothing quite like it anywhere!”

Metin added:
“At Slimeville, we’ve created a world where slime isn’t just fun – it’s a full-blown adventure! Whether you’re crafting your own magical goo, exploring slime zones, or diving into interactive games, this is all about making memories that stick – literally and figuratively.”
