Local Boxing Camp shows Community Spirit by Hosting Fundraiser for Alder Hey
7 years ago

There’s a brilliant fundraising event taking place later this week as a local boxing camp steps into the ring to support Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.
Dedicated Boxing will take over Fusion nightclub in the city centre for one night only, bringing together athletes, rappers, Macs and DJs for a unique night of entertainment and fundraising.
The camp has already raised over £1000 for Alder Hey and trainer, Frankie Power sees the partnership between the two organisations as the perfect match.
He said:” Dedicated Boxing is all about community spirit and being dedicated to a cause. We believe in helping others any way we can.
“The fighters have worked so hard over the last 8 weeks to put on a great event for Alder Hey Children’s Charity. They’ve all gained so much from the training – their general well being, overall fitness and boxing techniques have all improved.
“We are all winners in our camp, by overcoming our fears, we have become legends to ourselves.”

Either side of the boxing on the night will be showcases from Liverpool MC’s 2k and Nicky Talent, along with other local rappers all scheduled to perform new material for the event.
A chilled after-party will finish the night off in style with special guest DJs to be announced later this week.
All money raised on the night will go towards life saving medical treatment and equipment for Alder Hey alongside funding pioneering research into children’s illnesses and conditions such as juvenile arthritis, diabetes and cancer.
