Look at the new Afternoon Tree you can have at The Brunch Club on Duke Street
6 years ago
The Brunch Club has unveiled an all-new culinary concept with the launch of its ‘Afternoon Trees’.
The quirky take on afternoon tea will see the venue pay homage to its botanical roots with dishes served in trees, all of which can be accompanied by a glass of fizz or a signature cocktail.
The Duke Street restaurant was recently reinvented by Liverpool’s Kip Piper and Danny Bolger, the duo behind Ghetto Golf, alongside The Brunch Club co-owner Richard Rothwell to create a bespoke dining and drinking experience in the heart of the city.
Owner of The Brunch Club Kip Piper said: “We are incredibly excited to launch our new Afternoon Trees, which we’re sure will go down a real treat in the city. Afternoon tea is an increasingly popular choice for special occasions, so we wanted to create something that was truly extra-special and unlike anything that’s been done before.

“Our idea behind the venue was to bring the outside indoors with foliage and woodland-themed interiors, so our newest addition to the menu fits in perfectly with this overall theme whilst complementing our diverse day-to-night food and drink offering that includes everything from delicious brunch favourites to classic dishes ideal for evening dining.”
Afternoon Trees at The Brunch Club will include freshly prepared finger sandwiches with traditional fillings alongside the likes of Salted Caramel & Chocolate Brownies, Mini Bakewell Slices, Brunch Club Macaroons and savoury treats such as Cheese & Tomato Croissants and a Pumpkin, Feta & Pecan Tartelette to name a few.
Owner of The Brunch Club Danny Bolger added: “We’re always pushing ourselves to think outside of the box when it comes to The Brunch Club, whether that’s with our menus or the overall visual aesthetics and we’ve worked together with our good friend and co-owner Richard Rothwell to create a memorable atmosphere for our guests to enjoy no matter what time of the day they choose to join us.”
Afternoon Trees at The Brunch Club will be served every day between 2pm and 5pm and are priced at £19 per person with tea or coffee or £26 per person with prosecco or a cocktail. Booking is essential.
