There’s a jam-packed programme of music, dance family fun and entertainment throughout March. at St Helens Theatre Royal.
Audiences can go on a pop-tastic journey back to the 1980’s on Friday 1 March when 80’s Mania comes to town. Promising a night of all the biggest hits of the decade, featuring the music of 25 chart-toppers including Duran Duran, The Human League, Culture Club, Wham!, Madness, Madonna, Spandau Ballet, Cyndi Lauper, Adam Ant and Bananarama.
Do not miss the tribute to two beloved American music legends in the uplifting rock ‘n’ roll show Through the Decades with Roy Orbison & Buddy Holly on Saturday 2 March, jam-packed with all their greatest hits!
World renowned psychic and the UK’s favourite award-winning medium Sally Morgan returns on Thursday 7 March with her phenomenal interactive 10th Anniversary Tour promising a funny, entertaining and touching evening.
Another musical legend is paid tribute to with Mark Anthony as Prince on Sunday 10 March. The show will take audiences through the hits of one of music’s iconic stars. All the songs are played live and include: Kiss, Purple Rain, 1999, Raspberry Beret, Little Red Corvette, When Doves Cry and many more.
International phenomenal Irish dance show Gaelforce Dance will be delighting St Helens audiences on Tuesday 12 March. This highly acclaimed show expertly weaves intricate choreography, thundering rhythms, enchanting melodies and a compelling storyline into a stirring tale of love, passion and tragedy.
The month marches on with Exciting Science 2019 on Sunday 17 March. The brand new, exciting, and educational show will amaze and astound all ages from 4 years and upwards featuring fun and fact filled experiments.
Formerly of The Dubliners, The Dublin Legends return to the Theatre Royal on Thursday 21 March. Sean Cannon, Gerry O’Connor, Paul Watchorn and Shay Kavanaghcontinue to play all of The Dubliners classic songs and ballads known the world over including Whiskey in The Jar, Dirty Old Town, The Wild Rover, Seven Drunken Nights, The Rare Auld Times and many more.
Get ready to rumble on Saturday 23 March as the American Wrestling Show returns for an action-packed night. See the superstars live in action, cheer the goodies, and boo the baddies! A great show that is fun for the whole family featuring a sensational giant rumble!
The month of March is brought to a close on Sunday 31 March as Vienna Festival Ballet present Giselle. The ultimate romantic ballet, Giselle is a tale of innocence, love, betrayal and madness. With music by one of the 19th century’s best composers, Adolphe Adam, and choreography by the late Nicholas Beriosoff.
