Mamma Mia 2 Liverpool Premier raises over £8K for Cash for Kids

Carolyn Hughes PR in association with Radio City’s Cash for Kids and Festive Flowers and Events hosted the Liverpool ‘premiere’ of MAMMA MIA – HERE WE GO AGAIN on Friday at The Odeon Cinema in Liverpool One followed by a fun-filled after party at The Hilton Hotel Liverpool city centre.

150 ‘Dancing Queens’ gave the sequel a massive thumbs up at the charity fundraising event as they danced in the aisles and cheered at the feel good movie which is already set to break previous box office records.

Guests enjoyed arrival drinks in The Gallery at The Odeon, Liverpool One, and from the opening credits transported themselves to the clear blue shores of the idyllic Greek Islands.  Following a standing, dancing ovation guests made their way to The Hilton Hotel for a Mediterranean themed lunch.

An array of colourful cocktails greeted the excited Abba fans  before they made their way into The Exchange Restaurant which had been given a stunning  makeover by Festive Flowers and events, including  table centrepieces, a floral flower photo frame and a stunning Amazonian Flower Wall back drop, whilst Harvey Nichols Beauty Bazaar were on hand to give the ladies a little glam make-over when they arrived at The Hilton.

The event was hosted by Radio City 2’s Claire Simmo, with a rousing guest appearance for a sensational Abba singalong from Radio City’s Pete Price and the afternoon was rounded off with some classic feel-good tunes from Charlie C.

Carolyn Hughes, MD of CHPR said “This is the third Liverpool ‘Premiere’ I have hosted with Radio City’s Cash for Kids and it was incredibly good fun.  A wonderful way to spend an afternoon and raise money for a truly fantastic cause.  We are so grateful to everyone everyone who came along and to Festive Flowers and Events, Owen Drew Candles and Harvey Nichols Beauty Bazaar for their fantastic support on the day”
