Meet Liverpool 10 piece funk band The Soul Rays…

There is a ten piece funk band causing a stir in Liverpool’s music scene at the moment, we were first introduced to them at Threshold Festival 2015 when their high energy show took over Constellations in the Baltic Quarter. Think Earth Wind & Fire, add a few horns and turn up the volume and you have got The Soul Rays. They have just been confirmed again for Threshfold Festival on Friday 1st April and will be kicking off the 3 day festival again at Constellations.
They also play The Big Payback next Saturday 5th March at Studio 2, Parr Street alongside The Galactic Funk Malitia and have a new EP coming out soon ‘Girls Got Game’
