The set times for the ten acts who will be playing the Merseyrail Sound Station Festival have been announced. Taking place at Moorfields on Saturday 19th November, the festival features the final of the Sound Station Prize and our Jay Hynd will be hosting things on the day.
Ten artists will be battling it out in front of a panel of judges with eventual winner walking away with a year of expert industry mentoring, studio time and free train travel courtesy of Merseyrail.
Before a presentation evening at Tithebarn venue HUS, the schedule for the afternoon at Moorfields for the free festival is as follows:
1.00pm GAZELLE
1.25pm THE JJOHNS
1.50pm A LOVELY WAR
2.15pm DELIAH
2.35pm FAY MOORE
3.00pm STILLIA
3.25pm ASTLES
3.50pm JO MARY
4.15pm KATIE MAC

The artists represent the best of a superb field of entrants for the 2016 edition of the Merseyrail Sound Station prize in which musicians from across the region have recorded entries and uploaded their tracks to the Sound Station Facebook page. The prize is now in it’s fourth year and is now recognised as one of Merseyside’s leading grassroots music initiatives. Don’t miss it 1pm Saturday.
