Meet the penguins, tigers and giraffes during the next Virtual Chester Zoo Day

Chester Zoo might be closed right now but you can still enjoy a whole day of live animal antics from the comfort of your own home with their incredible  Virtual Zoo Days.

Since launching them during the first lockdown the reaction to Chester Zoo’s Virtual Zoo Days has been phenomenal with an incredible 17M views so far.

The first virtual Zoo Day of 2021 in January featured red pandas, Asian elephants, Sunda gharial crocodiles and Sumatran orangutans and the live videos alone reached over 17.5m people and are available to watch again at any time on YouTube and Facebook pages.

Schools where the children of key workers are still attending, and home schoolers, tuned in in their masses to learn about the animals featured, wildlife conservation and science.

And most recently, on Friday 22 Jan, the latest Virtual Zoo Day had a line-up which featured Andean bear cubs, Asian short-clawed otters, brilliant bugs and sloths.

This Friday (5 Feb) is feeding time with the Humboldt penguins, Rothschild’s giraffes, Sumatran tigers and a tour of the Chester Zoo aquarium.
