Mel Giedroyc returns to Liverpool for a night of Eurovision Classics at the Philharmonic Hall

The city of Liverpool is set to embrace the Eurovision spirit once again, as the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall hosts Eurovision Classics: Douze Points—an evening dedicated to celebrating the most iconic songs from Eurovision history.
The event, taking place on Friday 9 May, will be presented by renowned broadcaster and performer Mel Giedroyc.
Following her widely praised appearance as co-commentator for the Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final in Liverpool in 2023—and her memorable comedic cameo as a butter-churning milkmaid—Giedroyc returns to the city to lead this orchestral tribute to Eurovision’s most beloved hits.

The concert will feature the esteemed Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra alongside a selection of accomplished vocalists, performing symphonic arrangements of Eurovision favourites such as Waterloo, Boom Bang-a-Bang, Rise Like a Phoenix, Stefania, and many more. This special event offers audiences the opportunity to experience the grandeur and emotion of Eurovision music in a unique and elegant setting.
