Local charity Mencap Liverpool, who provide a range of support services for adults with learning disabilities and those on the autistic spectrum in the city, will be holding their third annual Comedy night on Wednesday 18th May starting at 7pm, at LEAF on Bold St. The event is back by popular demand after two previos successful events.
The night is hoped to be a great Fundraiser for the charity who have signed up brilliant local Comedians, including headline act Sam Avery, MC for the evening Dave Twentyman and Ben Turner . It is hoped that many supporters will join the charity for a fantastic evening of laughs, giggles and brilliantcomedy, whilst raising money for the local Liverpool Charity.
Comedian Sam Avery comments, “I’m really looking forward to the night, it’s a top line up for a really good cause.”The event is being supported by Barclays staff
Mencap Liverpool Chief Executive, Sarah Jones, commented: ‘Our comedy night is a really popular event which raises lots of much needed funds. It gives everyone the chance to have a laugh and the money we raise makes a big difference to the work we can do with local people who have a learning disability. I can’t wait for this year!’

Ben Turner will provide the giggles on the night
