M&S Bank Arena Liverpool has a huge winter ahead – here’s what’s on

M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool is gearing up to host Eurovision in May 2023, but before that there’s a host of amazing shows for you to enjoy!
This is the perfect time of year to be inside having an amazing night out and Liverpoolâs M&S Bank Arena has got some absolutely massive dates coming up.
Here are the big ones not to miss in the run-up to Christmas â and a few to get in the diary for 2023 âŠ
N-Dubz â December 1
MOBO award-winners N-Dubz were everywhere in the Noughties, racking up three successive platinum-selling albums, and now the original line-up of Tulisa, Dappy and Fazer are back for a UK arena tour thatâs added a date in Liverpool on December 1 after demand from fans.
Elf â December 3-4
If you love the classic film â and thatâs pretty much everyone â then Elf: A Christmas Arena Spectacular is the fun festive show for you. With West End star Steven Serlin taking over from Will Ferrell as Buddy alongside a cast of actors and aerial cirque stars, itâs been upscaled to include a huge LED screen, Santaâs flying sleigh, an audience snowball fight and indoor snowstorm as well as a lots of great original songs.
Rod Stewart â December 6
Itâs not every day you get to see an actual music legend performing live, but Rod Stewart definitely falls into that category and heâs at the M&S Bank Arena for one night only, on December 6, as part of his latest UK tour. Sir Rod will be belting out an incredible back catalogue of hits plus tracks from his 31st studio album The Tears of Hercules.
Christmas Festival â until December 17
For a Christmas party thatâs not like anyone elseâs, head to the Arena for one of its Christmas Festival nights because theyâre so much more than just a boring roast dinner. You do get a gorgeous Christmas street food menu, but thereâs also a live band and guest DJs from In Demand Radio plus funfair rides, stilt walkers, fire-eaters and dancers.
Have A Word podcast â December 9
Adam Rowe and Dan Nightingaleâs brilliantly funny podcast has won them loads of comedy awards and their studio chats have been listened to by millions of fans around the world. Now the pair are bringing their biggest ever live UK show to M&S Bank Arena on December 9, celebrating three years of the podcast alongside some of their favourite guests.
Lost In Music â December 10
You canât beat the sounds of disco for a bit of glitterball nostalgia and this show goes right back to the 70s heyday and hits from legends like Donna Summer, Gloria Gaynor, Diana Ross, Earth Wind and Fire, Chic and many more. With a live band and fabulous vocals, this is feelgood show to get you lost in music right from the first beat.
Aladdin â Auditorium – December 16-29
Itâs panto season and nobody does it quite as big and beautiful as the Arena. This year itâs the classic Aladdin, with our Leanne Campbell back as The Spirit of the Ring, Corrieâs Conor McIntyre as Abanazar, West End star Scott Sutcliffe as Aladdin, Philip Day as Widow Twankey and Bippo as Wishee Washee. Packed with songs, special effects and stunning costumes, itâs a great pre-Christmas treat.Â
Once Christmas is over, the line-up of whatâs to come at M&S Bank Arena just keeps getting better. Hereâs a few to look out for âŠ
Peter Kaye â January 6-7
Fans arenât going to need any reminding of these dates, not after that mad scramble for tickets, so if you got one then you can look forward to seeing an absolute comedy masterclass. Boltonâs finest is back for his first live tour in 12 years after breaking the world record with his last one which played to over 1.2million. Itâs going to be an unforgettable couple of nights for fans.
Disney on Ice â March 16-19
Disney on Ice shows at the Arena are always something special and this spring theyâre back with Discover The Magic and characters from favourites including Frozen, Aladdin, Toy Story and the Little Mermaid. With world-class skating, acrobatics and stunts, and a soundtrack of Disney songs, itâs a winner for all the family.
Elton John â March 23-24
If Rod Stewart is a Class A legend, then Sir Eltonâs right up there with him! Heâs bringing his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour to Liverpool for two nights â rescheduled from the original April ones because of Eurovision. After playing an amazing sell-out gig at Anfield in June this year, Liverpoolâs getting like his second home so expect a roof-raising set of all the hits.
Olly Murs â August 22
Olly Murs has been spreading his infectious energy ever since he burst into the charts back in 2010 with a double platinum album and hits like Dance with Me Tonight and Heart Skips a Beat. Now heâs back with his first studio album in four years, Marry Me, lots more pop reggae hits and a tour to go with it, coming to Liverpool on August 22.
