National Garden and Nature Presenter to return to Southport Flower Show

Southport Flower Show are delighted to announce that David Domoney will return to this year’s show on Thursday 14th and Friday 15thAugust.
David has been a professional horticulturalist for over 40 years. He is a national garden and nature television presenter on shows including ITV’s ‘Love Your Garden’ (Britain’s most viewed TV Gardening show), and the Sunday Morning show ‘Love Your Weekend.
David serves as the resident garden presenter on ITV’s flagship show ‘This Morning.’ He is a Fellow of the London Colleges of Horticulture, a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Horticulture, a Fellow of the Warwickshire Colleges of Horticulture and a Fellow of the Linnean Society.
He is the mastermind behind two national British gardening campaigns and competitions, Cultivation Street’s Community and School gardening campaigns, and Young Gardeners of the Year. Over the course of a glittering career, he has received a total of 34
Royal Horticultural Society medals, including RHS Chelsea Flower Show Gold medals and Best in Show Trophies, for his gardens, floral displays, and scientific exhibits, which have appeared everywhere from Hampton Court Palace to BBC Gardener’s World Live.
In 2018 David was selected by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh Prince Edward to receive the Award of Excellence in Horticulture. David is a former Royal Horticultural Society non-exec Commercial Board Director, an Ambassador for the Chartered Institute of Horticulture, a Patron of The Birmingham Botanical Gardens, a Patron of Air Ambulances UK, a Patron of Pollinating London Together, a Patron of The British Hedgehog Preservation Society, and Patron for Greenfingers, a charity which builds gardens in children’s hospices. David is also an Ambassador for the RSPB and Ambassador for the national charity Thrive, which helps those who are living with disability through social and therapeutic horticulture.
David has a combined social media following of over one million followers.

This year’s Southport Flower Show will be held at the wonderful Victoria Park on Thursday 14th to Sunday 17th August. A celebration of floral beauty, fresh flavours and family fun.
