New fitness and wellbeing centre, XF, opens at St Johns

XF Liverpool officially opened its brand-new 30,000 sq. ft fitness and wellbeing centre at St Johns, Liverpool this week.

Following the completion of a £5 million fit out the new XF Liverpool officially opened on Monday 22nd September. Within hours hundreds of new members had streamed through the doors to be greeted by the new XF team and the brand-new state of the art facilities. The XF experience includes a smoothie bar and a resident DJ providing a high-energy soundtrack—something that will become a weekly feature at the new gym and sets the tone for an exciting new approach to fitness and wellbeing.

Members joining XF Liverpool can look forward to:

A huge open-plan workout zone with the latest equipment
Bespoke Hyrox space and strength zone
A wide variety of group classes with space for spin, yoga, Pilates, boxing and dance
Luxury Spa space including saunas, showers, sunbeds, and vanity areas

The opening marks the latest stage in the evolution of St Johns Shopping Centre into a community-focused destination for retail, leisure and lifestyle. The 540,000 sq ft centre has long been famous for the amazing St Johns Beacon and popular brands such as JD Sports, Storm, Aldi, Liverpool FC Store, Sainsbury’s, Home Bargains, Argos and Matalan. In more recent years St Johns has added to its line-up of major retailers, and is now home to a mix of cafes, bars, restaurants, a hotel, Boom Battle Bar, and now XF Liverpool.

The new gym is located on the upper mall, in the former Wilko unit, within St Johns Shopping Centre. XF Liverpool is open Monday to Friday 5am to 11pm, Saturday and Sunday 6am to 8pm, is well served by Lime Street Station, Queen Square bus station, and the centre’s 625-space car park.
